At a recent fundraiser for Hillary Clinton, famed investor Warren Buffett expressed his puzzlement that he’s taxed less than everyone else at a 17.7% rate vs 32.9 - 39.7% for his employees. Warren says “The people that earn their living doing that should be subject to taxes that reflect their labors…” and offered $1,000,000 dollars to anyone who could show that the wealthiest individuals pay a higher tax rate than their employees.
Looks like some people need to start investigating the divide between the rich and the poor.
