And I’m reading reviews on photography and the ColorMunki and all that when a tabbed site I headed to pops up some ghastly warnings about how Power Antivirus 2009 found some awesome backdoors and trojans running on my system after running a bogus scan without even consulting me.

So, presumably if I’m dumb enough to click “Repair infected” or “Protect now” I’ll be magically cured of all this malware that only hits Windows machines on my Mac, via their highly secure encrypted web site that certainly isn’t using https.

I’m not sure who’s worse - the malware guys or the anti-malware guys pandering to the FUD of customers…
