I’ve noticed over the few episodes of CSI: Miami that I’ve watched that David Caruso has some pretty annoying line delivery habits. I guess other people out there had the same idea and made a video of really bad lines that he’s delivered over the series, which you can watch here. Usually, it involves David starting a line, putting on sunglasses then finishing it. Or maybe just pausing for dramatic effect which usually comes over as a pregnant pause. I’m starting to think a normal line would be like Magnum from Zoolander…

I’ve caught some of this a few times and each time had to stay watching til the next ad break to work out whether it was real. But it’s not just Caruso acting badly, the other characters are all just about as painful, so I point the finger more at dialogue and direction. Either that or people in Miami really are like that. Ewwwgh.
I certainly hope not! I’m getting a bit tired of all these crime shows on TV these days… what’s next? CSI: Big Brother? (A whodunnit in the BB household… who’s going to survive? Watch as they fumble their way through!)
