Slyck interviews Muslix64 about his involvement in bypassing AACS on HD-DVD and Blu-Ray. Interesting read as mostly his impulse was to get around the unnecessary restrictions from him playing back his legally owned discs, as he claims “fair use enforcement” and that “If you can play it, you can decrypt it!”. Bottom line - industry should just toss their encryption past some experts first to save themselves embarassment in the long run.
